Jemma Kaluski is from Lexington Kentucky and a University of Kentucky alumni graduating with degrees in Biology and Accounting. Jemma began her career working at a veterinary practice as a technician and advanced to Practice Manager where she was responsible for handling the business operations and accounting as well as developing and enhancing company processes and practices. Jemma transitioned to public accounting in 2012 where she obtained her Certified Public Accountants license. She is currently a Supervisor at Mountjoy Chilton Medley LLP in the Assurance Services Department. She has experience in a number of industries including employee benefits, not-for-profits, manufactures, construction, and commercial entities. Jemma is responsible for planning, supervising, and overseeing the completion of audit and assurance engagements. Her experience includes external audit procedures, control and system review, assisting and advising clients with their unique accounting and business related concerns, and preparing financial statements in accordance with accounting principles generally accepted in the United States of America and other financial reporting frameworks.
Jemma is passionate about helping those in need in her community and believes that everyone deserves a second chance to have a rewarding and fulfilling life. She became involved with The Well because she believes strongly in The Well’s mission to provide women with a safe, healing environment that allows them to recover and build a foundation for their future. Throughout her career, Jemma has volunteered her time to a number of other organizations in Lexington including God’s Pantry, Habitat for Humanity, and the Lexington Humane Society.
